Kosali Simon Appointed an Editor of the Review of Economics and Statistics (REStat)

Irsay Co-Director Kosali Simon has been appointed an editor of the Review of Economics and Statistics. REStat, one of the oldest and most prestigious peer-reviewed journals in economics, publishes empirical and theoretical research across economics and statistics. Founded in 1919, the journal is published by MIT Press and consistently ranks among the top general-interest economics journals in the discipline.

As an editor, Dr. Simon will play a central role in shaping the direction of the field, overseeing the peer review process for submitted manuscripts and helping to identify and shepherd high-quality empirical research through to publication.

This appointment reflects both her record of scholarship in economics and her deep engagement with the broader applied microeconomics community.
