Information for Prospective SNAD Participants

Information for prospective participants in the Social Networks in Alzheimer's Disease Study

This study is being done in partnership with the Indiana Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (IARDC). If interested in participating, you can reach out directly to the IARDC, or through our IU research team.

Participation includes a 90–180-minute face-to-face interview about your social activities and relationships of the study subject. You will also be asked about the important people in your life and characteristics of your relationships. Additionally, the survey will include questions about general well-being, lifestyle, and other related characteristics of the social environment you and the study subject live in. You will be compensated for your involvement in this study.

Eligible participants are:

  1. Over the age of 50,
  2. Meet a minimum cognitive assessment score (will be assessed by our team),
  3. Live within 100 miles of Indianapolis
